In some situations, direct contact with the tax officials cannot be avoided. We have currently determined how satisfied taxpayers are with the work of the tax offices for you. For this, we have scrutinized all tax authorities in the 20 largest cities in Germany and analyzed over 2,600 customer reviews from 80 tax offices.
Bremen has the best, Stuttgart the worst
According to customer reviews, the tax authorities in Bremen perform best, receiving an average of 3.8 out of 5 possible stars. However, the Stuttgart tax offices rank at the bottom with an average of 2 stars.
With around 600 reviews, the Berlin tax offices received more ratings than those of the other cities in our study.

To find out in which German cities the tax offices are perceived best, Taxando analyzed the Google ratings of the tax offices in the 20 largest cities in Germany. The cutoff date was June 9, 2020. For the tax offices Essen Süd, Stuttgart III, and Frankfurt am Main II, there were no entries available.
